Honor's Day

Green Pod Honor's Day is Monday, May 20th.
Please meet in your child's homeroom at 12:45 for cake and punch prior to our ceremony. We will begin the Honor's Day program in the gym at 1:15. Thank you for a wonderful year!

Read Across America Week

March 4th – March 8th

Monday, March 4th: Cat in the Hat Day

Guest Readers need to read to class or pods

Wear your favorite hat

Tuesday, March 5th: I Am Not Going to Get Up Day (Please advertise Reading Night in your newsletters)

Pajama Day

Reading Night starts at 6pm. PTA will be selling pizza

Door Prizes will be given

Book Fair will be open during Reading Night

Wednesday, March 6th: Wacky Wednesday Day

Wear Wacky Clothes

Thursday, March 7th: Green Eggs and Ham Day

Wear GREEN

Friday, March 8th: Oh the Thinks You Can Think Day Wear Dr. Seuss T-shirts

Dr. Seuss Costume Parade that morning. Students will come dressed from home.

Teachers come up with a special snack and Dr. Seuss movie for your class that afternoon.

This school year, all schools in Elmore County are participating in the District Advance-ED (SACS) Accreditation process.  To fulfill requirements of this process, the Elmore County Public School System is conducting a Parent Survey. First Week of School

What a super first week of school! I think we all did a fantastic job but are REALLY tired! The updated newsletter is on the blog. We have our first DIBELS Test this Wednesday. Have a great week!
